Secretary of State Ross Miller has removed from the 2012 ballot the nicknames of two candidates who were in violation of NRS 293.2565 which states "a nickname must not indicate any political, economic, social or religious view or affiliation."

Nancy "Occupy" Price and Eddie "WarNoMo" Hamilton are running for the Senate as a Democrat and Republican, respectively.

The law was created after Emil Tolotti Jr. ran and lost as "God Almighty" in the 1992 Senate Democratic primary.
